Frequently
organizations need help in deciding whether to implement a new project
or idea. Impact Collaborative assists organizations in making
such decisions by doing feasibility studies to assess the viability
of a proposed project.
Feasibility
studies begin with an initial client meeting to understand what the
client is trying to achieve by doing the feasibility study and how the
study will be used. Once these goals have been defined, we create a
work plan that outlines the process that will be used in doing the study.
Typically
feasibility studies involve "best practice" research, demographic
and/or market research, financial analysis, human resource analysis
and risk analysis. Once the initial feasibility study is done, it may
be followed by a technical or operational analysis that specifies the
details of implementing the proposed project. Feasibility studies are
sometimes used to provide data that will be included in a business plan,
especially if an organization is seeking outside funding for a proposed
project.
